About the Founder
Ross has been in IT long enough to remember when doubling your storage meant a drill and a steady hand — yes, that era. The ‘3D-printed save icon’ was new. He's been at this 25+ years, which we're not framing as a liability. We're framing it as thoroughly field-tested.
That career took him through running multinational helpdesks for over a decade, then heading up IT functions at several multinationals. Somewhere in there, he noticed a gap you could drive a server rack through: small businesses handling genuinely sensitive data were stuck choosing between bloated retainers from firms that dragged out every ticket, or winging it alone.
Neither was good enough. So gotaminute was born.
The idea was simple: take everything that actually works about enterprise IT support — the responsiveness, the security mindset, the institutional knowledge — and bring it to the businesses that need it most but get ignored the most.
